PUBLIC NOTICE from The City of Gardena

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Gardena, (herein referred to as "City") has established a Proposed Overall Triennial Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal of 3% for Federal Fiscal Years (FFYs) 2025-2027. The DBE goal is applicable to FTA-assisted contracts scheduled to be solicited and awarded during the period of October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2027. The City's Proposed Overall Goal and its rationale developed in response to DOT's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program Regulations published under Title 49 CFR Part 26 is available for inspection and public review for thirty (30) days following the date of this Notice, from 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday at the City of Gardena's Transportation Administrative Office located at:

The City will also be holding a DBE Public Consultation Meeting with stakeholders that may have information concerning the availability of disadvantaged businesses and comments on the City's proposed DBE overall goal and corresponding methodology. The City will accept comments for forty-five (45) days from the date of this Notice.
