If you are a small business in Hawaii, the Hawai'i Department of Transportation (HDOT) presents you with a never-before opportunity.

HDOT has extended an invitation to small business owners and disadvantaged business enterprises for their Prime Time Networking event that will be hosted in October 2023.

These networking events are conducted to bridge the gap between DBEs and established contractors. This Prime Time Networking event focuses on helping these firms partner with Prime Contractors on construction projects in the future. It will be hosted on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at the Prince Waikiki Hotel from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

DBEs and small businesses willing to collaborate with Prime Contractors on future construction projects will get the following opportunities:

  • Have one-on-one meetings with some of the top Prime Contractors in Hawai'i
  • Make connections with other small businesses and Prime Contractors
  • Promote their companies and foster business connections

Participants need to register for the event as seats are very limited. Everyone must bring copies of their firm's capability statement, business cards, a clipboard, and a pen.

Any information related to the event or the registration process can be found online or by scanning the QR code on the Hawai'i DOT website.

The self-parking for the event is $8, and for valet parking, it is $11, both with validation.
